You may have noticed my interest in Latin America. And so should you.
Latin America poses quite the question for the USA and the rest of the “western” world. There is a lot to discus and study and where does one begin? Perhaps with the news. As much as I dislike the news (the media), there is little to go on. One must search, delve into realms that one may not normally go. But if you want to know, you have to research. So I search and I search and I search. It is as though that the most of “western” civilazation really does not care what goes beyond their backyard. Well that is definitely what the media thinks. But there are people out there reporting what they see, you just have to find them.
Luckily, BBC just reported ( well a couple of days ago now) about the step that the President of Bolivia, Evo Morales made in his country. He is an indian from Bolivia, elected by his people who is determined to fight for rights for his people. It appears that he is not liked by the elite ……… OMG, that is not a surprise, but is determined to give rights to the indigenous people of Bolivia.
I do not know of his history or for that matter the history of Bolivia, but I intend to find out. The full story is in the link below. Please read it and be informed.
